KCET 2022 Counselling Schedule Released, First Round of Mock Seat Allotment Oct 13, Check Complete Schedule Here
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2022 Counselling Schedule on October 3, 2022 at the official website kea.kar.nic.in. The first round of UGCET or KCET 2022 counselling document verification will start on October 7, 2022. KCET 2022 First Round Counselling
KCET 2022 Counselling Dates: The first round of counselling dates has been released by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on the official website kea.kar.nic.in. The first round of counselling for KCET 2022 will start on October 7, 2022. Candidates who have given the KCET 2022 Exam and qualified are eligible for the counselling.
According to the schedule, the document verification will be carried out from October 7 to October 8, 2022. The counselling verification slip will be made available from October 7 to October 10, 2022. According to the schedule, the provisional mock allotment will be released on October 13, 2022, after 2 pm. The final allotment result will be declared on October 17 after 2 pm.
KCET Counselling 2022 Procedure
A candidate will go through the following stages while participating in the counselling.
- Document verification and Registration
- Choice filling & locking
- Seat Allotment
- Reporting to the respective institutes
The revised ranking list was declared by the KEA on October 1, 2022. The Karnataka High Court upheld the recommendations of the expert committee and proposed a normalisation process to evaluate the repeaters. The expert committee recommended that six marks in physics, five in chemistry, and seven in mathematics and so a total of six for 100 qualifying marks were deducted to evaluate the repeaters. It has also been suggested that the IT-related seats be increased by 10 percent to safeguard the interests of the candidates. The KCET 2022 exam was conducted on June 16, 17 and 18.
