KCET 2026 Exam: The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), will release the KCET notification 2026 soon. After the release of the notification, it will accept the KCET application form 2026. Students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form of KCET 2026 from - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates who successfully submit the online application form will be issued the KCET admit card 2026 to appear in the exam. What is KCET?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test commonly known as KCET is regulated by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is conducted for admission to professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science) and Veterinary courses. Candidates who desire to take admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam whereas candidates seeking admission to Architecture course through KCET must have qualified JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA to participate in KCET counselling.

Q:   What is the duration of KCET UGET exam?
A: 

Karnataka Examination Authority conducts KCET Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics paper in separate slots. Each paper of KCET exam 2025 is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. KCET exam Biology and Mathematics exam will be conducted on same day while Physics & Chemistry exam will be conducted on separate day. Applicants are not allowed to leave the KCET 2025 exam hall before the conclusion of the exam. There will be no break in the KCET exam. The shift 1 exam of KCET 2025 will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM while shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 3.50 PM. 

Q:   What should I do if I find a question that is out of the syllabus or has wrong answer options in the KCET question paper?
A: 

In case any question is asked in KCET 2025 exam out of syllabus then applicants are advised to attempt the question. In case a question will be out of syllabus, KEA will provide full marks to applicants who will attempt the question which is out of syllabus.

KCET 2026 Result

KCET Result 2026 will be OUT in May 2026, tentatively. The Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2026 result online. The KCET 2026 scorecard will be available for download on the official website. The KCET result link 2026 and portal will be LIVE for a time while so that candidates can check their qualification status.

Applicants appearing in the exam will be able to check their KCET results at kea.kar.nic.in. The login credentials required to check KCET results 2026 are registration number and first four characters of student's name.
