KIITEE 2015: Documents required for counselling
KIITEE 2015 Counselling: Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by KIIT University are based on KIITEE 2015 conducted by the university every year. The exam for this year has already been conducted from April 21 to April 30. KIITEE 2015 results were announced on May 6, 2015. Check out KIITEE 2015 important dates here!
Candidates who have cleared the exam are now eligible to take the counselling rounds to be conducted at the university. For now the counselling dates for the first round have been declared by the university on its official website. The counselling for B.Tech (4 Years) and Five Years Dual Degree Programmes is scheduled to be conducted from May 17, 2015 till May 20, 2015. Counselling shall be stopped anytime whenever the seats are filled. Or after the first counselling, another round of counselling shall be conducted to fill the remaining seats in the programmes.
Please note, to take the counselling round and confirm the seat, aspirants must carry a few mandatory documents to the counseling session. Also, it is advisable to students to keep a constant check of the official website of the institute to know any updates regarding the counselling. Aspirants must check the date allotted to them as per their rank and category. They must not miss the date as those reaching late shall not be entertained. Also, they must verify the eligibility criteria before appearing for the counselling.
It is necessary for the students going for counselling to carry following documents. They have to carry original documents as well as their Xerox. The Xerox copy shall be retained by the institute and the originals shall be returned to them after verification.
Take a look at the documents to be carried:
1. Admit Card of KIITEE 2015
2. Rank Card of KIITEE 2015
3. Passing Certificate or Marksheet of class X.
4. Marksheet of class XII.
5. Admit Card for candidates who are waiting for the result.
6. Candidates who are still waiting for the result of class XII have to be submit an undertaking to submit the result by June 5, 2015.
7. Two passport size color photographs
8. The institute will not accept any payment in cash. Therefore, candidates are required to get a Demand Draft of Rs 62,000 which includes the counselling registration fees of Rs. 6,000 in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The remaining fees must be deposited by June 10, 2015.
9. Certificate for students belonging to reserved category such as SC/ SC (W)/ ST/ ST (W) must present relevant Certificates issued by the Competent Authority. The Reservation Criteria claimed should be clearly indicated on the certificates. For students belonging to PC/ PC (W) category must submit their Physically Challenged certificate issued by authorized Medical Board.
If a candidate is not able to attend the counselling then either of the parents can attend the counselling with following additional documents:
1. Candidate must give an authorization letter to his/ her parent.
2. Photograph and an identity proof.
3. A Certificate indicating the name of person attending the counseling. It can be either Birth Certificate or passing certificate of class X.
Admission in such cases will be provisional and only after the biometric verification of candidate the seat allotment letter will only be issued.
