KIIT School of Computer Applications is a constituent unit of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (Deemed to be University U/S 3 of the UGC Act 1956). The KIIT University was initiated in 1992-1993 as an industrial training institution. However, 1997 is considered as the base year for the University. Further, the KIIT School of Computer Applications is AICTE approved and offers various courses to students at UG and PG levels. The college has produced 18 batches of young, trained, and talented individuals, who are doing good in the software industry.
Aspirants must complete Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BSc Nursing programme at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
Admission to the MBA is based on the score of CAT or any other entrance exam such as XAT/MAT according to the college and the candidate should have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 grade. It depends on the merit list of the year released by the college every year. The minimum cut-off to get admission in KIIT usually ranges from 92-95% and the score of MAT usually ranges to 80-85%.
