VITEEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria and Test Centers

VITEEE 2016 exam dates have been announced recently by VIT University and the same is scheduled between April 6 and April 17, 2016. The university has also released other important details about VITEEE 2016 exam such as its application process, syllabus & pattern, and eligibility criteria on its official website. VITEEE 2016 application forms are available both online and offline from November 27, 2015 onwards. The last date to submit VITEEE 2016 application form (this option is only for students applying online) is March 15, 2016.  

VITEEE 2016 introduced English as a new subject and this year onwards, the exam paper will have four subjects namely- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. Take a look at the complete VITEEE 2016 syllabus and pattern here!

Students appearing for VITEEE 2016 exam can sit in three different sessions, where the first session will be conducted from 9 am to 11:30 am, while second and third sessions will take place between 12:30 and 3 pm and 4 pm and 6:30 pm respectively. VITEEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate born on or after July 1, 1994 can apply for the exam.
• The date of birth of candidates as recorded in the High School/SSC/X Certificate will be considered
• Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
• He/she should have obtained the average marks in PCM/PCB in +2 (or its equivalent) and 50 % in case of SC/ST and North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
• All the applicants who have studied in regular, full time, and formal education can apply for VITEEE 2016.
• Candidates from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) too can apply for the exam.
