VITEEE seat allotment is a process where students will be offered course and college based on their rank/scores secured in the entrance test. The counselling and seat allotment will be done in 5 rounds and is common for all VIT campuses. Students will have to fill in their preferences and wait for the allotment result. Based on VITEEE seat matrix, rank, and choices submitted, VIT will announce seat allotment result.

The introduction of negative marking in VITEEE exam pattern for the first time is the most significant change made this year. Now, for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. While each correct answer carry 4 marks. So, now with negative marking implemented, blind guessing can be risky. 

The authorities prepare VITEEE rank list based on percentile secured in the examination. Also, one must note that there is no option for re-totalling, or re-ranking or re-evaluation.

VITEEE mock test has been released. Students can take mock test at the portal to understand the question paper format of Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination. It must noted that there is no attempt limit to take VITEEE exam mock test. 

No, scorecard is not generated for attempting VITEEE mock test. It is curated for practice and understanding question paper pattern.

No credentials are required for taking VITEEE mock test. Students can use dummy credentials to access. The mock test link will be made available on official website. Students will just have to select their stream and practice accordingly.

The VITEEE 2026 admit card can be accessed and downloaded atleast 48 hours before the slot that they have booked. Students will have to log in and check if their admit card is available or not. Admit card update is notified to students on their registered email ID. 

Candidates can download their VITEEE admit card at OTBS portal. To download, students have to provide their application number and password.

The VIT BTech Engineering Entrance Exam is now over. The last date of CBT was May 3

VIT completed conducting slot booking process. The OTBS window was opened on April 17, and VITEEE slot booking last date was April 19 (5:00 pm).

The slot booking process was done from April 17 to 19. The link was made available at OTBS portal. Registered candidates were able to book their exam slot using application number and password. 

Students can check VITEEE entrance exam date on its official website. Also, students who have done VIT BTech slot booking and received admit card can check their specific allotted exam date. The VIT entrance exam date and time will be mentioned in VITEEE hall ticket. 

Vellore Institute of Technology has extended the last date to submit VIT application form. The revised deadline to submit form was April 12.
