To get admission in PhD course at IIT Bombay, candidates first need to fill out the application form. VJTI Mumbai tuition fee ranges between INR 18,000 – INR 2.3 L for various courses. This fee is exclusive of other components, such as examination fee, application fee, etc. Therefore, VJTI Mumbai is not very costly, in comparison to other engineering institutes.

Students seeking to apply for any of the courses offered at the college are required to appear for either the CET conducted by Bharti Vidyapeeth or other accepted entrance exams. Foreign National/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates need to present a valid score of relevant All India Common Entrance Test. Although, the institute does fill in the vacant seats through the Institutional Quota Merit category, it is still subject to fulfilment of the basic admission criteria.
