NIRF College Ranking 2025 - The Ministry of Education announced the NIRF 2025 rankings on September 4, 2025. According to the NIRF 2025 Rankings, Hindu College has been named the best college in India. Miranda House, Delhi has secured Rank 2, followed by Hans Raj College, Kirori Mal College, and St. Stephens's College in Rank 3rd, 4th, and 5th respectively. NIRF Ranking Parameters with Weightage for Top Colleges in India 2025

The Ministry of Education awards ranks to colleges and universities based on several parameters. These institutes under all categories are ranked based on five evaluation parameters –  i) Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR); ii) Research and Professional Practice (RP); iii) Graduation Outcome (GO); iv) Outreach and Inclusivity (O&I) v) Perception (PR). Under each of these parameters, these institutes are scored out of 100. Each parameter has a certain weightage and institutions are evaluated out of a total score of 500. Given below are the NIRF ranking parameters along with the assigned weightage for each parameter:
