M.A. in English Colleges in Ahmedabad - Fees 2026, Admissions

The total first semester fee is INR 31, 250. This fee includes many components. Some of them are academic fee, registration charges, library and administrative charges, etc. Students have to pay charges like placement fee, etc. separately.  

Admissions at Gujarat University are based on entrance exam or aggregate in Class 12. The selection requirements varies course-wise. Check below the Gujarat University admission process:

1. Application Process 

The application process consists of first filling out the online application form from the University's official website and paying the application fee.

2. Selection Rounds 

Students have to check what the eligibility criteria is for the course they want. For eg., MBA and PhD course require candidates to appear for an entrance exam, such as CMAT, whereas for UG diploma, BA, and BDes course, students are only needed to pass the merit criteria which is a certain percent of marks in Class 12. 

3. Counselling & Admission Confirmation

After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants are required to come for counselling and document verification. For MBA, ACPC Counselling is required. Shortlisted aspirants need to confirm their seat by paying the fee.

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) has various collaborations and some of these include Vardhman Mahaveer Open University Kota, Rajasthan, Stree Chetana, Astrakhan State University Astrakhan, Russia, Shishuvihar, Vidyamandir Trust Gujarat State Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS, Blind People's Association, NAC Communication Network LLP, Ahmedabad Garbhopanished Foundation.

As of the University, MAT is not required.

But, for the other course such as BBA, the selection criteria is based on UGAT/AME CET.

Then for BCA, it depends on merit-based selection.

For B.Des class 12th with an aggregate of 50 percent and IDAT.

For MBA requires MAT/CAT/ CMAT.

For BArch, it  requires NATA and ACPC counseling
