The University of Kerala is known as one of the top state-run universities of the country. Yes, Calicut University is a part of Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of College and University students that is run by MHRD. Such a scholarship is used to assist needy students with tuition fees as well as maintenance and other needs. A Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) is used for the purpose of the MG University application procedure for all courses offered on the university campus. To apply for any of the programmes, candidates must first register online at the MGU CAT official website. Candidates from the general category must pay a cost of INR 1,000, while applicants from the reserved category must pay a fee of INR 500. The steps for applying to MG University are listed below:

Step 3: Fill in the required academic and personal details.

Step 4: Upload the required documents, including a qualifying exam mark sheet and a passport-size photograph.

Kannur University offers a Diploma in Tulu which is a one-year course. The course duration is further divided into two semesters. The university conducts classes for the programme on only on Saturdays. Over one year, there are 200 teaching hours in total. The medium of instruction and examination is Kannada. The course curriculum includes learning about the history and literature of Tulu. It also includes a project work which can be carried out as field work or desk work. A written project/document must be submitted to the University at the end of the second semester. The project is evaluated by an external examiner.
