Q:   What entrance exam scores does Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit accept for admission to MA?
A: 

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) accepts entrance exam scores for admission to MA programs. The university also conducts aptitude and practical tests for some programs. 

For the academic year 2023-2024, the university conducted the entrance exam in April or May. The following programs were available: 

  • MA Museology
  • MA Comparative Literature and Linguistics
  • MA Dance (Bharathanatyam)
  • MA Sanskrit General

Other programs include: M.Sc, M.S.W, MFA, MPES, PG Diploma. 

Admission to the 2-year Master of Fine Arts Degree Program requires the following: 

  • A Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from a university recognised by SSUS
  • A minimum of 55% marks in aggregate

Admission to PG programs is not available to students who are already enrolled in another PG programme at the university
