{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the reviews provided, it can be inferred that the placements of the College of Distance Education, University of Kerala, vary for different batches and courses. However, overall, the placements seem to be mixed, with some students securing high-paying jobs while others may have limited opportunities.

According to Review 1, the college does not provide direct placements but focuses on providing good training and learning practices for students to achieve their career goals. Review 2 indicates that around 70% of students got placed, with the highest salary offer being Rs. 18,000 per month and the lowest salary offer being Rs. 8,000 per month. Top recruiting companies included IBM and Information Park. Additionally, over 92% of students received internships at IBM. Review 3 states that almost 90% of students got placed, with the top role offered being an accountant.

On the other hand, Review 4 mentions that the percentage of students placed is around 65%, with the lowest salary offer being up to Rs. 10,000 and the highest salary offer being Rs. 20,000. The average salary range was between Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 15,000. However, due to the pandemic situation, only 25% of students received internships. According to Review 5, since it is a private distance education program, students need to find job opportunities on their own. The available job roles were primarily related to accounting and bookkeeping, with low salary packages.

In summary, the placements of the College of Distance Education, University of Kerala, appear to be varied, with both successful and limited placement outcomes reported by different reviewers. Students should be prepared to seek job opportunities on their own and aim for backup degrees to enhance their skills for better career prospects.

Campus is so beautiful and enjoyable. Clean and safe.

Placements: The placements are honestly great for the Undergraduates since a lot of good companies come on campus to recruit with pretty decent packages. Soft skill training is also provided to the students beforehand including mock interviews and image-building sessions.

I am dissatisfied with the facilities in 2023; the only positive aspect is the quality of teachers.

Placements: I don't think this college provides any placement opportunities, and it does not offer any placements. This college only offers normal degree courses, resulting in a lack of recruiting companies for this college or course. Additionally, the college does not conduct any internships.

Fest are organized less compared to the other private colleges.

Placements: Many students got placed for their own talents but the college does not provide any placement facilities. The highest salary offered is 2 LPA, average salary is 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 1 LPA. Top roles and companies do not depend on the college, it totally depends on the students. The college needs to improve their placement facilities.
