The university offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in online mode. These are available in various streams, such as Management, Commerce, Finance, etc. Admission to all the courses is merit-based. Candidates can apply for the desired courses by filling out the online application form. 

Patna University has not released the schedule for admission yet. As per the old schedule, the university usually begins the admission cycle in May/ June with registration. Candidates can apply both online or offline for admission. The university conducts Patna University Common Entrance Test or PUCET to shortlist candidates for various UG and PG courses. The entrance exam is likely to commence in June and go on till July.

Thai Scholarships: Nalanda University offers three scholarships for Thai students who wish to undertake higher studies in the School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy, and Comparative Religions.

According to unofficial online sources, a large share of Nalanda Open University alumni is placed in the Education sector with a 23% share. LNMU admission to all the popular courses, such as BTech, BEd, MBA and PhD is subject to a valid score in university/ state/ national-level entrance exams or is subject to counselling conducted by the university. Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) does not have a strong campus placement tradition. Because universities and colleges only give degrees, students are largely placed on their own after graduation. Accenture, Deloitte, Global Banks, Nestle, KPMG, PWC, and others have already made placement visits to the institution. During recent TMBU placements, the top and the lowest packages provided were INR 4.80 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. TMBU has a placement rate of approximately 80%.
