AIL Mohali BA LLB: Basic Requirements

To take admission to the BA LLB programme at the Army Institute of Law Mohali through the AIL LET entrance exam, aspirants must meet the following basic requirements: 

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens. 
  • They must have an intermediate degree from a Public School Education Board or any other recognised education board. 
  • Candidates who completed their schooling from an open schooling or university system without acquiring basic qualifications are not eligible for the AIL LET exam. Basic qualifications in this context refer to school education from Class 1 to Class 10. 
  • Students appearing in the compartment test papers are also not allowed to take the AIL LET exam.

Candidates who have applied for various UG and PG courses can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online from  the official website of Punjabi University. Given below are steps on how to download the Punjabi University merit lists 2023 for students waiting to check their results.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Punjabi University (pupadmissions.ac.in).

Step 2: Scroll down to the Notices section and click on the merit list of course applied for.

Step 3: On the next page, the meirt list for course applied for will open up in form of PDF. 

Step 4: Cross check the names for further admission process.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 from the Punjab School Education Board or from any other national or state education board in India with at least 45% on the qualifying exam.
  • They need to note that the AIL LET minimum marks criteria 2025 are the same for the candidates belonging to all categories. Thus, general category candidates, SC/ST candidates, and candidates belonging to all reserved categories must have 45% marks in their Class 12 exam to take the AIL LET exam. There is no relaxation on the minimum required marks for candidates from Punjab or other states to take the exam.
  • Students pursuing Class 12 can also take the AIL LET 2025 exam. However, they must have their qualifying exam result during BA LLB admission 2025 or AIL LET 2025 counselling. 

Age Limit for AIL LET 2025

AIL LET has not mentioned how old you have to be to take the AIL LET exam in 2025. However, the upper limit for taking the entrance examination can be 21–22 years old.
