Yes, the Army Institute of Law (AIL) provides a correction window for the AIL LET application form, allowing candidates to make necessary edits to their submitted information.

If you don't score above the cutoff in AIL LET, you will have to follow one of the steps mentioned below:

1. Participate in Subsequent Counseling Rounds:

• If seats remain vacant after the initial allotment, subsequent rounds of counseling are conducted. Cutoffs may lower in these rounds, providing a chance to secure a seat.
• Stay updated on the official website for counseling schedules and participate in all rounds for which you are eligible.

2. Explore Colleges Outside Punjab:

• Consider applying to law colleges in other states that accept scores from AIL LET or have their own entrance exams, or 
• Research colleges with good reputations and courses that align with your interests.

3. Retake the Exam in the Next Year:

• If you're determined to get into a specific college or course, prepare thoroughly and retake the AIL LET exam in the following year.
• Analyze your previous performance, identify areas for improvement, and dedicate time to focused preparation.

There are three main categories of candidates under the Wards of Army Personel in the AIL LET eligibility. The applicants accordingly must fall under one of the following categories:

(a) Army Personnel ( Certificate No. I)

(b) Adopted/Step Ward and Ward of Remarried Widows (Certificate No. I & II)

(c) Eligibility Criteria in Special Cases (Certificate No. III)

The AIL LET counselling process consists of steps that candidates need to follow to secure admission into the BA LLB (Hons.) programme offered by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. These steps are listed below:

1. Online Application/Registration for counselling
2. Document Verification
3. Release of Merit List
4. Counselling and Seat Allotment
5. Fee Payment and Admission

Army Institute of Law will activate the AIL LET 2026 result link on the website, ail.ac.in. Students have to provide the AIL LET user id and password to check the scorecard. The following information will be mentioned in the AIL LET scorecard:

• Candidate's name, application number and exam roll number
• Scores obtained by candidates in AIL LET
• Section-wise scores for AIL LET 2026
• Rank obtained by candidates

AIL LET 2026 Result will be published online. Since the whole admission process is completely online nothing will be published offline. Candidates must not trust anything published offline.

Yes, there is a reservation policy for seats in AIL LET (Army Institute of Law Entrance Test). It is for some categories as per government regulations.

The CLAT Exam is tougher than the AIL LET Exam. The admission to 24 NLUs is done through CLAT. AIL LET Exam is held for admission to only Army Law Institute. 

AIL LET question paper contains 200 multiple choice-based questions. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions and wrong answers. There are four sections in the exam question paper. These sections with section-wise weightage are listed below: 

The exam will be held by the Army Institute of Law. The AIL LET Exam Date 2026 is yet to be announced. The exam is in computer-based mode at various test centres across the country.

For BA LLB program, following Self Attested Copies of Certificates to be Uploaded along with Online Application Form: 
(i) Matric Certificate showing Date of Birth.
(ii) 10+2 Certificate with Detailed Marks Sheet.
(iii) Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force Category Certificate as applicable.
(iv) Gallantry Award Certificate (Applicable to Wards of Army Personnel).
(v) Gap Year Affidavit.
