Generally, there is no one right LLB subject that prepares you for LLM. If someone wants to study a particular area of LLM then the ideal choice would fall towards that specific area. Here's why:

LLM Specializations: A Master of Laws is more specific in the areas of law that students pursue when in the course.
Alignment with Specialization: While switching from an LLB programme to an LLM programme might be relatively easy, the choice of courses that you took in your LLB that relates with your preferred LLM specialisation can serve as a foundation and thus make the switch easier.
For example if one’s LLM specialisation is in Corporate Law then Company Law, Contract Law and Business Law are relevant courses in the LLB.

Thus, the only strategy that makes sense is to choose the LLM specialisation one is interested in first and then search for the corresponding LLB subjects.

CNLU Patna follows a semester-wise fee structure for its LLM programme. Candidates must pay the tuition fee on a semester-to-semester basis. The cumulative one-time fee for the whole LLM programme amounts to INR 51,000. However, it includes various fee components, such as admission fee, infrastructure development, library fee, student welfare fund, facilities fee, library deposit (refundable), examination fee, and dissertation. Candidates wishing to get 100% scholarship at Amity University Patna should have scored  90 percentile and above in CUET along with 85% and above aggregate in CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards of Class 12. If candidates wishes to avail 100% based on Class 12 scores, they need to score at least 93% aggregate marks in Class 12.

Patna University has not released the schedule for admission yet. As per the old schedule, the university usually begins the admission cycle in May/ June with registration. Candidates can apply both online or offline for admission. The university conducts Patna University Common Entrance Test or PUCET to shortlist candidates for various UG and PG courses. The entrance exam is likely to commence in June and go on till July.
