Generally, there is no one right LLB subject that prepares you for LLM. If someone wants to study a particular area of LLM then the ideal choice would fall towards that specific area. Here's why:

LLM Specializations: A Master of Laws is more specific in the areas of law that students pursue when in the course.
Alignment with Specialization: While switching from an LLB programme to an LLM programme might be relatively easy, the choice of courses that you took in your LLB that relates with your preferred LLM specialisation can serve as a foundation and thus make the switch easier.
For example if one’s LLM specialisation is in Corporate Law then Company Law, Contract Law and Business Law are relevant courses in the LLB.

Thus, the only strategy that makes sense is to choose the LLM specialisation one is interested in first and then search for the corresponding LLB subjects.

 

Manipal University Jaipur does not provide direct admission to all the courses. However it does provide direct admission to some of the courses such as BCA, BBA, BA, BCom. Admission to these courses takes place on the basis of class 12 exam and personal interview. For some of the courses candidates might have to take English Compregension tests. Primarily BTech and M.Tech admision takes place on the basis of JEE and GATE scores.

For NLU Jodhpur LLM admission, candidates must submit academic certificates and identification documents. These include LL.B. marksheets, degree certificate, and category certificates if applicable. CLAT-PG details and counselling documents are also required.

The date for the release of the URATPG 2025 LLM merit list has not been announced yet. The merit list will be made available at uniraj.ac.in.

UNIRAJ selects students for LLM courses based on their performance in the URAT PG exam. Those who have appeared for the examination, must note that the first merit list for admissions were released in the month of July. Candidates taking part in the seat allocation process must visit the university’s official website to check the result.

The total fees tuition to do the LLM programme at Banasthali Vidyapith is 1.24 L. The duration of the LLM course is two years. Thus, the total tuition fees to complete this programme amount to 2.48 L. In addition to this, all students are required to pay the hostel fees as it is a fully residential programme. The annual hostel fee is 9,000.

 

Aspirants have to pay INR 500 as application fees at ICFAI University, Jaipur. Candidates can pay the fees via any of the online payment modes. The university also accepts fees in the form of DD for offline submission.

In order to get admission to a two-year LLM course at MDSU, candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria for the course. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the course is to have a PG degree of LLB or must have done PG Diploma in Law. MDSU offers direct admission to LLM aspirants based on the merit of their previous qualifying exam and past academic scores. Aspirants must submit their scorecard as the proof of education at the time of filling the application form.
