Sharda University offers research programmes in 13 disciplines, such as Engineering, Law, Management, Medical, Mass Communication, etc. Admission to PhD programme offered by the University is based on NET/ GATE/ SET/ UET/ SUAT score followed by a personal interview. All the PhD programmes are offered in both part and full-time modes. The minimum duration of the PhD programme is three years.

• Common Eligibility Criteria for PhD Programmes: PG or equivalent degree of minimum two-year duration from a UGC recognised Indian/ foreign university with a minimum of 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA
• Common Tuition Fee for All Full-time and Part-time PhD Programmes: Rs 75,000

Candidates who are seeking admission to any of the doctoral programmes offered by the University need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website (www.sharda.ac.in) and fill up the application form
• After confirmation of the programme/ specialisation, you will need to generate your System ID
• Fill up the additional details/ educational details section and upload your photograph, signature and required documents
• Pay the required application fee 
•  If your PhD application has been approved, then you will need to appear for SUAT 2021. If you have a valid GATE/ NET/ SET/ UET score, then you may get preference during the selection procedure
• ·Appear for the personal interview
