The DD should be drawn in the favour of the Symbiosis Test Secretariat payable at Pune. No, the SET exam will be conducted in a single shift. SET exam is usually conducted in a single shift for one hour, i. e. from 9 AM to 10 AM. The exam was, however, is conducted on two days. 

However, in 2020, the SET exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, and the students had the option to choose the exam slot according to their preference and convenience. SET exam pattern was also changed after 2020.

Symbiosis Entrance Test is a national level entrance test conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses provided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). SET 2026 will be conducted on May 2 and May 10. The SET exam date varies each year and is released along with the complete SET exam schedule on the official website. The SET exam is usually conducted only once a year in May. 

SET admit card can only be downloaded till SET exam day. SET hall ticket will be released on April 24, 2026, for the test 01 and students will be able to download their admit card using their login details. It is a mandatory document which is to be carried to test centre for entry in exam hall. SET test 02 admit card will be released on April 30, 2026. 

The SET admit card download link is live only from the day of its release till the exam day. After the SET exam, the admit card download link is removed from the official website.

The admit card may also not be accessible in the student dashboard after the exam or result announcement. Moreover, since the signed admit card will be considered valid for any activity post the exam, even if you can download a fresh copy after the exam day, it will be of no use. So, keep your SET admit card safe.

The SET exam is held for only one hour or 60 minutes. There is only one slot for the SET exam. SET exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 60 minutes and this means that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 60 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SET exam is conducted in the afternoon shift, I. e. from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the SET exam centre by 10:30 AM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry GATE. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 11:15 AM.

SET cut-offs will be announced after the declaration of the result. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious colleges of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and each individual institute releases their own cutoff after the results are announced. SET results are usually announced in the last week of May, for the both the sessions and other courses. Students can check the same on the official websites of the institutes. The students who match the cutoff criteria will be called for further selection process which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interview . Some institutes also conduct Written Ability Test as a part of the selection process.

After the SET results are announced, individual institutes release their SET cut-offs. If the candidate matches the cutoff criteria, they will be called for further selection procedure which includes Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and/or Personal Interview . Any candidate who have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a 50 per cent aggregate. 5% relaxation is given to students belonging to a reserved category, I. e. candidates who have secured at least 45 per cent can apply for the exam. There is no age limit to appear for the ATMA exam. Candidates who are awaiting the results of Class 12 can also appear for the SET exam, and can present the mark sheet at the time of admission. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from any Foreign Board and have obtained an equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU) are also eligible to apply for SET exam. The candidates who do not match the SET eligibility criteria will but have filled the SET application form will be disqualified. Their application forms will be rejected. Therefore, candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The SET application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
