6 last minute tips to score well in MAH-CET 2015

The exam will be conducted in a two-day window. It will be held on March 14 and March 15, 2015. MAH-CET exam is taken by students aspiring to pursue full time management programme in the state of Maharashtra. Students are examined on their verbal ability, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. Candidates have to answer 200 questions in 150 minutes. They have to be really cautious with time and accuracy in the exam.

There are other things that have to be taken care in the exam and before the exam. Read out following points to know last minute tips for MAH-CET 2015:
1. Time to take up short notes
As suggested by experts, last two to three days before the exam should be dedicated towards last minute revision. Give up learning from books or mugging up theories. Take short notes and revise from it. You must focus on revising formulae, tricks and shortcuts. Shortcuts are really important as they save your time. Also, try to learn from your mistakes done in previous exams or mock tests.
2. Maintain a balance between accuracy and time
You have to focus your attention towards answering correctly while rushing along with time. Time is an important factor in the exam that can help you score well. You do not even have one minute for every answer. You have to give an answer in less than a minute.
3. No Negative Marking
The best part of the exam is that thereβs no negative marking. So make sure to attempt all the questions during the exam. We suggest, first finish the parts you are familiar with. Then go back and attempt the rest of the paper.
4. Finalise your exam strategy
You should have an exam strategy before you appear for the exam. For instance, you may be more adept in logical reasoning. So attempting LR section first makes sense. Having an exam strategy helps a students in staying focused and confident. Then you will be able to answer with a free mind in the exam. Make a strategy that fulfils the criteria of answering correctly in the given time.
5. Devote equal time to all sections
Do not stick to particular one section for long period. First answer equally in both the sections. Then if you are left with enough time, go back to your strongest section and attempt the remaining questions. Itβll help you score above the sectional cut-off.
6. Pack your bag on time
You must look at all the formalities and documents that needs to be carried to the exam centre. Preferably, check all the important items a day or two days before the exam. Do not forget to take a print out of your admit card. For ID card, you can carry Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, etc.
