Q:   Can we open a medical store after completing B Pharmacy course?
A:

Yes… so pharmacists can’t just open their own clinics. In India, only MBBS doctors get that right. Pharmacists can run a chemist shop and give out meds, but actually treating patients in a clinic? Nope, that’s off-limits.

Even if you know a ton about medicines, without an MBBS, you can’t prescribe or run a clinic. You can sell meds once your shop license is sorted, but only as per doctors’ prescriptions. And heads up - some chemists suggest stuff for minor issues, but technically that’s illegal and can get them in real trouble.

It is possible at Rayat Bahra University. After completing D. Pharmacy from a PCI approved institute with minimum 50% marks, you can directly join B. Pharn  from 3rd semester but not from 5th semester. That way you would make it 3 year program instead of 4 year program.
