22nd October, 2011: D-Day of CAT 2011
CAT 2011, one of the most sought-after entrance exams of the country, has begun across the country on Saturday. About 5, 690 aspirants appeared on the first day of CAT. As per experts and students, this year the difficulty level of test has increased a bit.
Students have faced one more challenge, i.e., to complete the exam within the given time frame of 70 minutes per section. This year, the paper has been divided into only two sections - the first being Quantitative and Data Interpretation and the second, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, with 30 questions each.
First day of the CAT 2011 went off with smooth sailing with no reports of technical glitches across the centers in Delhi and NCR. However, quite a few students complained about the registration process being slow at the All India Institute of Local Self Government, Janakpuri and Delhi Business School on Mathura Road.
Some aspirants who appeared at the Prometric Test Laboratories, Gurgaon were satisfied and content as both the sessions went smooth without any technical glitch. As per some of the students, overall it was a good experience and the information shared with the candidates before the exam was a big help and it has relaxed the students.
