According to our research, MBA or PGDM in Finance is one of the highest paying specialisation in today’s market. The data and findings are based on the latest resumes and resumes that have been updated in the past one year (2013). The average work-experience in this study is two to five years.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad emerges as the top institute in MBA Finance specialisation followed by IIM Calcutta, Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad, IIM Lucknow and IIM Bangalore. The highest average package received after two to five years of experience is Rs 16 lakhs per annum, by the alumni of IIM Ahmedabad and Calcutta.
The data of top companies hiring MBA in Finance graduates is based on maximum recruitments (as reported by Naukri.com users). HDFC takes the top slot in this regard with 1919 recruitments, followed by ICICI bank with 1809 recruitments and Axis Bank with 1444 recruitments.
