Yes,  GIM Goa is considered a good college. Goa Institute of Management is ranked 37th by NIRF 2024 under the Management category. GIM Goa is approved by AICTE and AIU and is accredited by NBA and SAQS. MBA/ PGDM is the flagship programme of Goa Insitute of Management. It is offered in four specialisations at the PG level. It is also under top 11 private business schools by Outlook India ranked in 'Top Private MBA Institutions in India' of 2022.

Besides, PGDM students are also open to placement opportunities. As per the latest report, the institute recorded 100% placement rate for its PGDM batch 2023. The highest international and domestic package offered during GIM placements 2023 stood at INR 60.4 LPA and INR 55 LPA, respectively. 

Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) has collaborated with various universities, industries, and colleges. For this, the Goa Institute of Management has signed MoUs with several companies and institutions. Some of them are the University of Antwerp, the University of Kansas, General Insurance Corporation (GIC), Konkan Railway Corporation, and others. In collaboration with various colleges and universities, Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) offers PG and other courses to students. The college also arranges guest lectures for students.

The total tuition fees of PGDM course is INR 21.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates who will qualify all the selection rounds for PGP admission will be required to pay the course to confirm their seat in the institute. In case, a candidates is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates need to pay a application fee to apply for admission.

Candidates need to qualify national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. for admission to PGDM programme. Aspirants must score equal or above the GIM Goa cutoff to take admission. Below is the minimum percentile required to get in GIM Goa:

XAT cut off is released category wise. The cut off percentile for female candidates and male candidates are different. The cut offs for engineering and non engineering candidates are different and XAT cut offs for PGDM BM and PGDM HRM are different. As per the GIM Goa cutoff 2024, the percentile was 85 for the General All India category students. So, considering the previous year cutoff trend, a candidate must score above or in the range of 80 to 85 percentile in XAT. 

GIM - Goa Institute of Management MBA cut off 2024 has been released for admission to its MBA/PGDM course. The Institute does not releases the final CAT cutoff publicly and is only accessible through account login to those candidates who appear in the CAT examinations. 

Goa Institute of Management CAT cutoff stood at 85 percentile for 2020, 2021 and 2022 for the General category students. So, condisering the past year cutoff trend, yes a student with 80 percentile in CAT can get admission to PGDM at GIM Goa.

Common Admission Test commonly known as CAT is a national level management aptitude test which is conducted by the IIM for MBA/ PGDM admission. Candidates seeking admission to GIM Goa must appear for the CAT exam. 

CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.

The NTA announced registration dates via an official circular, which was released online on the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply was December 13, 2024, and the admit card was released on January 20, 2025.

GIM Goa offers a full-time four-year residential Fellowship Programme in Management. The courses at the GIM Goa are offered in various specialisations. Admission to the FPM course is based on CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ CSIR NET/ MAT/ UGC NET/ JRF scores followed by a PI round. GIM Goa also considers the work experience, research proposal, academic performance, and statement of purpose of the candidates. A pass in master’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate or an equivalent grade along with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12 is required to apply for the FPM course.

Considering the past three years trend, the CAT cutoff remained consistent for GIM for open category. As per the GIM CAT cutoff 2024, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM cutoff stood at 95 for CAT for the General AI category candidates. However, for other PGDM specialisations, it stood at 98.5 in 2024. So, the expected can be same for separate PGDM specialisation. Further, the GIM cutoff 2025 is yet to be released.

FPM is offered in 12 specialisations, namely Economics, Finance, Big Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, etc.

Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.

At the PG level, the Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) offers two-year full-time PGDM, HCM, BDA, BIFS, and IDA courses to students. The PGDM fee is INR 5.3 lakh - INR 19.4 lakh. This fee is exclusive of various charges such as the admission charges, transportation charges, and several other charges. Students can apply for scholarships if the fee is too high.
