Kansas State University offers online MBA for working execs
Kansas State University has decided to offer a new online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from fall 2013.
According to a press release, Kansas State University College of Business Administration has partnered with the Division of Continuing Education to offer an accredited online master's program for working professionals with at least three to five years of experience.
The distance learning program is accredited by AACSB, and will be taught by the same professors who teach regular MBA program at the Kansas State University’s Manhattan campus.
Program features:
- A two-day regional student orientation, including team building, networking and professional development components
- A total of 39 credits, or as few as 30 credits depending on the individual's previous undergraduate business course work. Curriculum includes courses in economics, accounting, management, finance and other related subject areas.
- Faculty-led international trip
- Professional development and learning seminars
Application Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in undergraduate degree
- Minimum score of 500 in GMAT
- TOEFL score, less than 2 years old (non-native English speakers only)
- A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, with a score of 57 in each section, or 215 on the computer-based test, with a score of 25 in each section, is required
- 6 hours of undergraduate economics courses
- Calculus undergraduate course or pre-determined score in the qualitative portion of the GMAT
“The fee is $2,500 per 3 credit class for in-state and out-of-state students. The maximum total tuition is $32,000. This does not include costs related to the required international trip or regional orientation and professional development seminar,” stated the release.
