MAT 2018 September Application Form & Process

The MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) every year and almost every numerous MBA aspirants appear for the test since the test is said to be easier than other MBA entrance tests. 

MAT 2018 September application process has already begun and will continue till August 24 for Paper-Based Test and September 8, 2018 for Computer-Based Test. Candidates willing to apply for MAT 2018 September exam must ensure that they fill the application form carefully. Applications that incomplete/ filled incorrectly/ will be rejected by the officials. 

Candidates are also advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the form to avoid rejection. The exam fee is Rs 1550 (for one paper) & Rs 2650 (for both CBT & PBT). Candidates can choose to register for the exam either online or offline. 

Candidates willing to register offline need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit AIMA office in New Delhi and ask for a hardcopy of the application form
  • Pay fee (mentioned above)
  • Fill the application form
  • Paste a recent colored passport sized photograph on the form
  • Submit the form at AIMA office

Candidates willing to register online need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of MAT
  • Click on online registration by candidates for May 2018 on the right hand corner of the homepage
  • Fill personal details and academic qualifications
  • Pay fee online using Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment OR
  • Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1550 (for one paper) & Rs 2650 (for both CBT & PBT) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any bank. Then register online along with the DD details OR
  • Obtain form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment

Candidates should be ready with the below mentioned documents before filling the application form:

  • A valid e-mail ID
  • A scanned copy of latest photograph size of the photograph should be 50KB
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s signature size of which should be 30KB
  • The photograph and signature should be jpg/ jpeg

MAT 2018 September will be conducted in two modes: Paper-based test (PBT) and Computer-based test (CBT). Candidates can choose to appear for either of these or both the exams. MAT 2018 September PBT will be conducted on September 2, 2018 from 10am to 12.30pm. MAT 2018 September CBT has been scheduled for September 15, 2018. CBT will be conducted in single/different time slots at specific test venues; subject candidate’s registration. 

Candidates appearing for PBT can download their admit cards from August 25 onwards, and candidates appearing for PBT can download their admit cards from September 11 onwards. MAT 2018 September results can be expected on or after 21st September 2018.
