Mystory@Joy Thakkar: How I chose my course
I was interested in Research and Engineering, so I opted for Science stream after Class 10. Later, due to low percentage in Class 12, I could not get into Engineering but opted for Bachelors in Information Technology.
By the time I finished my Graduation, I found out that the trend is shifting to being a jack of all and master of none, so I decided to pursue Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Today, I hold a very rare portfolio.
How I cracked college admission
Everyone was eager to choose Engineering. I could not get admission in Engineering but secured admission in BSc in IT course. The only difference between BSc IT and Engineering IT was Maths and Engineering Drawing. Besides them, all the subjects are the same; rather, they are more advanced in BSc.
I saved one whole year, pursued my Masters and joined the corporate world before the race for others even began.
