Mystory@Ramanujan Das Patra: I cracked SNAP test under extreme work load
First of all, let me share my story of my UG course. It was a fine day. I was traveling to Dibrugarh from my native place. During the journey, I was worried because that day the results of the final round of counselling for AIEEE 2012 was to be declared. As I reached my destination, I opened my laptop, logged on to the CCB site, entered my credentials and then saw status "ALLOTTED". I was elated but the next issue was choice of branch in Engineering. I was confused as I had no idea about the branch Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. Upon research on the web I was able to learn all about it and conclude that Metallurgical & Materials Engineering can be designated as the mother branch in the field of Engineering. After the above assumption, I made up my mind to join the Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.
Postgraduate course
I worked at Amazon for 6 months as an Associate. Under extreme work load (I use to work for 10-12 hours in resolving client's queries), I appeared for SNAP 2016. The exam went more or less fine. Somehow I got a decent percentile and I was shortlisted for Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bangalore and Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune. After a decent GD-WAT-PI, I got an email after 47 days from SIIB, stating, "Congratulations! You are selected for the program MBA International Business at SIIB".
I am very interested in international business and want to make a career in it because it not only teaches general management, but also about international trade. Now a days all local business/organizations are trying to expand their business in an international level and according to me along with general management, knowledge about international trade expansion is essential.
