Scholarship offered by Mirae Asset Foundation

Mirae Asset Foundation offers ten need-cum-merit-based scholarships of up to INR 30 lakhs for the MBA full-time program at the School of Business Management, NMIMS. Candidates having an annual family income below INR 8 lakhs are eligible for the scholarship. However, they must provide an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, and should have taken an educational loan from nationalised or private banks.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students

This scholar scheme provides financial support to economically weaker students from General, SC, ST communities. Additionally, this scholarship scheme for the NMIMS MBA course benefits the physically handicapped students. This scholarship is based on the Senior Secondary Examination results. Candidates scoring above the 80 percentile in class XII and having a family income below INR 6 lakhs per year are eligible for the scholarship scheme.

The monthly scholarship amount is INR 1000 at the graduation level for the first three years and INR 2000 at the post-graduation level. Students in professional courses receive INR 2000 per month in the fourth and fifth years. The scholarship is given for 10 months each academic year and transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
