List of all NMIMS Campus in India: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is one of India’s top private universities offering quality education at the graduate and postgraduate levels. Established in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), NMIMS was accorded ‘Deemed to be University’ status in 2003. Launched as a management institute, NMIMS over the years, ventured successfully in other streams of education namely Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, Commerce, Arts and Design. NMIMS is accredited by NAAC with 3.59 CGPA and Grade A+ in the third cycle and UGC and MHRD have awarded NMIMS university category "1st" in the graded autonomy. The university has been ranked 9th amongst the top MBA institute in India in Business Today rankings 2019. Admission to NMIMS is done through entrance exams. For admission to UG courses, the university conducts NPAT while for postgraduate management courses, candidates have to appear for NMAT by GMAC.

Q:   When is NMAT cutoff released?
A:

NMAT cutoff scores are released by the participating institutes during its admission process. Candidates have to apply for the desired b-school. Some of these institute may or may not release the NMAT cutoff scores. Candidates must refer to the official website of the desired b-school to know about the cutoff scores.

The overall NMAT cut-off level generally remains between 150-280. More than 40 B-Schools across India and 20+ international B-schools accept NMAT scores for MBA admission. the cutoff scores and percentile changes across participating b-schools. Additionally, some colleges may seek admission based on sectional as well as overall cutoff scores, while some may only consider the overall cutoff. 

Q:   Will GMAC release NMAT cutoff?
A:

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the conducting body of NMAT exam, do not release the NMAT cutoff scores or percentile. The cutoff scores are released by the NMAT participating institutes at the time of the admission process. For NMAT exam conducted from October 10 to December 19, the MBA admission process at participating b-schools typically start from the month of November. While some b-schools also conduct the NMAT based MBA admission process from the month of February in the subsequent admission cycle.

Q:   What factors determine NMAT cutoff for admission?
A:

Numerous factors determine the NMAT cutoff scores for admission. NMAT participating colleges determine the NMAT cutoff scores for admission in the institute. Here are the factors that are considered while determining the NMAT cut off score:

  • Aggregate marks of candidates in the NMAT exam
  • Total applications received for the programme
  • Total seats available for the programme
  • NMAT cutoff trend over the years
  • Reservation criteria
  • Difficulty level of the NMAT exam

SVKM's NMIMS Bengaluru was established in 2008 with the launch of an Executive Management programme. Over the last 12 years, the institute has launched a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Q:   What is meant by NMAT cutoff?
A:

NMAT cut off score is the minimum score or marks required for shortlisting the candidate for admission or admission rounds. In simple words mean, the cutoff scores help in the screening process by which candidates can be shortlisted for further selection rounds, including the Group Discussion (GD)/Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview. The cut-offs list is determined by each participating college; therefore the minimum marks/ percentage required to for selection differs across different participating institutes.

The institute operates from two campuses. One campus is located in the Bannerghatta area of the city while the other is located in Koramangala.

Founded in 2007, SVKM's NMIMS Shirpur is the only campus having an Academy of Aviation. Located about 60 km from Dhule, NMIMS Shirpur has a privately owned airport with a 1200-metre long runway. SVKM's NMIMS Hyderabad

NMIMS Hyderabad was established in 2010, it is the youngest B-school in India to be awarded AMBA accreditation in 2016. It was reaccredited in 2018 for five years until 2023. NMIMS, Hyderabad operates out of two campuses. The main campus is located in the Jadhcherla area of the city. Another campus is located at Tarnaka, also referred to as the city campus. Courses offered at NMIMS, Hyderabad range from undergraduate, integrated, and postgraduate to executive education.  Admission to undergraduate courses is through the NPAT exam. GMAC releases the NMAT admit card 7 days before the exam date. Candidates can find the NMAT admit card download link inside the login dashboard available on the official website. The admit card for NMAT exam is downloadable until the exam date.
