<p style="text-align: justify;">Indian education is going through a sea change. Now students are more aware about the course they want to go for or the colleges they want to take admission in. Now students want to go more for professional courses as compared to traditional courses. They want to do some good professional course so that they can find a job easily. This changed trend in education system is giving a wake up call to the universities and institutes also. They have to upgrade themselves to survive in the business. The new initiative of HRD Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal to bring foreign universities to India will prove a milestone in Indian Education system. The bill has been passed by the <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1269516617phpcM7T1i.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="110">Cabinet and will soon be implemented. More than top 50 universities have submitted their proposal to establish their shops in India.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The top foreign universities want to offer vocational and professional courses to Indian students. The students those who are planning to study abroad can study in India in their desired university. This will give them opportunity to study in their native land and get the international degree and good education. Once the foreign universities will establish their shops in India they will give tough competition to Indian institutes and universities. Here most of the state universities are still offering the traditional courses to students. If a student will get a chance go study a professional course from an international university at an affordable price will surely encourage him/her to take admission in that.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The entry of foreign institution will bring tough competition for Indian universities and Institutions. As most of them want to offer their best professional courses to Indian students, and we are here still following the same traditional courses. In today&rsquo;s competitive world where every one wants to win the race, the competition is quite high. These institutions will not only offer the best courses but if you think about infrastructure facility, modern teaching aids and moreover the faculty, they will have the upper hand as compared to our universities.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />HRD minister Kapil Sibal said, &ldquo;Entry of foreign educational institutions will help impart skills and quality education to youths in India. Such institutions will not only set up campuses in India but would also be involved in many other arrangements like skill development and training.&rdquo; He further added into that, "By 2020, hopefully we may have 40 million students in colleges. There may be another 140 to 150 million outside the university. They will have to be empowered by skill training. Foreign universities will also enter into that segment,"</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />This future scenario will change the whole concept of education in India. To keep the pace with the changing situation the Indian universities will have to pull up their socks.
