Exam Pattern for AIPMT 2011 (All India Pre-Medical Test 2011) Will Be Different Than Last Year!
Like All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to all the engineering colleges in India, All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all the medical and dental colleges in India. At present, 15% seats are reserved for AIPMT qualifiers in all the government-run medical colleges, except in the states of J&K and Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, most of the private medical colleges across India also accept AIPMT rank as one of their entrance criteria.
AIPMT 2011 will be a bit different from previous years in many senses. Since 2010, raeservation of medical seats for SC, ST and OBC candidates has been defined in the pre-medical examination. Besides, significant changes have also been made to the examination pattern, which took effect last year. You should expect more application-based and assertion reason questions in AIPMT 2011 that some students may find difficult.
