The Medical Council of India (MCI) has decided to change the syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG, a common entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical programs for all medical colleges across India. It will be held in May 2012 for the first time.
The decision to change NEET syllabus has been taken after the core committee received about 1,970 e-mails with suggestions on how to make the test more adaptable to students across the states. The new NEET syllabus will be declared by the second week of November.

Not a bad decision is this. But, it should have better to give the syllabus earlier. There will be only 4- months remaining for the examination.!
