FMGE passing marks are important for medical graduates who have completed their medical studies outside India. National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will conduct the FMGE exam thrice a year. An additional exam is added for October session. 

Candidates who have completed their medical degree from a foreign country must qualify for FMGE to get registered as a medical practitioner in India.

Candidates need to score 150 out of 300 marks to pass FMGE. This means they need to score 50% marks. The passing marks are same for all candidates. There is no relaxation for SC, ST, OBC or PwD candidates.

The FMGE exam has 300 multiple-choice questions. The paper is divided into Part A and Part B. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

FMGE exam comprises 300 multiple-choice questions. One mark is awarded for each question. Hence, the total marks amount to 300. There is no negative marking in this test. Candidates will not get any deductions for the incorrect answer.

The FMGE exam includes two parts: Section A and Section B. Each part contains 150 questions. Marks obtained from both parts are summed up to find the total marks of the candidates. Candidates need to satisfy certain qualifying conditions in order to appear in FMGE exams.

Is There Any Sectional Cutoff in FMGE? 

There is no sectional cutoff in FMGE. This means students do not have to pass each subject separately. There is also no subject-wise passing rule. Only the total marks scored in the FMGE exam are considered for the result.

To pass FMGE, candidates must score 150 marks or more out of 300. Even if a candidate scores low in one subject, they can still pass if their total score is 150 or above.
