MGM Institute of Health Sciences will conduct the MGM PGCET (Post graduate common entrance test) on 4th February 2012 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. MGM or Mahatma Gandhi Mission deemed university is well known and students on qualifying the entrance will be admitted for M.D./M.S/PG Diploma for 2012-13 session, at Constituent Colleges at Navi Mumbai & Aurangabad Campus.

Eligibility:

  • The candidate must have passed final MBBS exam from a recognized medical college or foreign medical college and have obtained permanent registration certificate from medical council of India or State medical council after completing one year compulsory rotatory internship.
  • Candidates who are likely to complete their internship on or before 31.03.2012 provided that they should submit document proof from their Principals/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship.
  • The candidate must produce documentary evidence for registration with Medical Council of India or any of the state medical council of India.
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in MGM PGCET.
  • Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/ completed the PG course are not eligible.
  • Candidate who has completed or pursuing PG Diploma is eligible.
  • Candidates applying for foreign/ PIO/ NRI category need not appear for MGM PGCET 2012. Their admission will be based on qualifying marks.

Entrance Details:

MGMPGCET 2012 is a three hour duration entrance examination comprising 300 multiple choice questions. Each correct answer will award the students with one mark and there is no negative marking. This test will cover all the subjects of MBBS course. The tentative number of questions each subject will be given as below:

The Entrance will be held at Navi Mumbai, Aurangabad and New Delhi/ Noida.

Result:

The results for MGM-PGCET 2012 will be declared till 10th February, 2012.
