There are 224 colleges affiliated with VNSGU Surat. Some of the affiliated colleges are AV Patel Commerce College, B.K.M. Science College, Ambaba Commerce College, C.N. Parmar Mahavidyala, etc.

Parul University offers merit-based admission to most of the courses in the stream of Management, Science, Commerce, etc.,  Aspirants only need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the respective courses before applying for admission at Parul University. The universty accepts scores in NATA, JEE Main Paper-2, NEET, etc. for specific courses. Parul University also conducts Design Aptitude Test for admission to design courses.

In Ahmedabad, SSIU is among the top universities. Although SSIU was only founded in 2017, it has a lot of focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.
