The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2012) results will be declared on Thursday evening, May 31, 2012. The test was conducted by The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, on May 6, 2012.
The all-India level examination is conducted in order to facilitate admission of Pharmacy graduates in M. Pharm as well as award fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduates. Candidates who qualified in GPAT can take admission to postgraduate programmes with MHRD and other government scholarships/assistantships in pharmacy colleges/institutes. In addition to this, those who have four year Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy are eligible for admission to Masters/Doctoral programmes in Pharmacy.
Candidates with Master's degree in Pharmacy can apply for relevant Ph.D. programmes with scholarship/assistantship without appearing for the GPAT examination. Candidates qualifying GPAT are also eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories and CSIR/UGC sponsored projects. (Read more)
Candidates can check their results in Section 9 of the GPAT official website. There will be only two categories of candidates-Qualified and Non-Qualified Candidates. The GPAT scorecard which is valid for One Year will be issued to the ‘Qualified Candidates' only.
Note: There is no provision for re-grading/re-checking or re-totaling.
