MAH BBA CET 2025 normalization process document released by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. Read the article below to know more.

The State Cell, Maharashtra, conducted the MAH BBA CET 2025 on different dates and in multiple shifts. The MAH BBA CET normalization process is conducted to evaluate the candidates on a common ground and maintain equivalence. The exam authorities have released the MAH BBA CET 2025 normalization document. According to the official document, " The process of Normalization is an established practice for comparing candidate scores across multi shift papers and is similar to those being adopted in other large educational selection tests conducted in India."

The candidates will receive percentile scores, which are the scores based on the relative performance of all the candidates who appeared for the MAH BBA CET 2025 exam. The exam was conducted on April 29, April 30 and May 2. Basically, the marks obtained by the candidates are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of the candidates. Read below to know the normalization process and preparation of percentile scores.

MAH BBA CET 2025 Normalization Process and Percentile

The percentile of the candidate is calculated using the following formula:

MAH BBA CET Percentile =

100 X (No. of candidates appeared in the Session with raw score equal to or more than the candidate's score)

Total number of candidates in the session

Note: The Percentile of the total shall not be an aggregate of the percentile of the candidate's individual subject. Also, the percentile score is not the same as the percentage of the marks obtained by the candidate.

Steps for Normalization and Preparation of Percentile Score

The following steps are taken:

Step 1: Candidates would be distributed into four sessions randomly so that each session has approximately equal number of candidates. These four sessions would be-

Session 1: Day 1 Batch 1 (D1 B1)

Session 2: Day 1 Batch 2 (D1 B2)

Session 3: Day 1 Batch 3 (D1 B3)

Since the MAH BBA CET exam 2025 was conducted on three days, the students will be divided accordingly to ensure unbiased process.

Step 2: The MAH BBA CET 2025 result will be prepared for each session in the form of raw scores.

Total Percentile (TP)=

100 X (No. of candidates appeared from the Session with raw score equal to or less than the T1 score)

Total number of candidates in the session

Step 3: The total CET scores of all sessions will be compiled as calculated in Step 2 shall be called the CET Percentile scores which will then be used for compilation of MAH BBA CET result. The percentile of all four sessions will be calculated separately for the Total raw score, merge the Percentile Scores calculated above of all four sessions for the Total Percentile for percentile for the preparation of CET scores.
