SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
According to the SET exam eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board
- Candidates should have at least 50% aggregate in Class 12
- 5% relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, i.e. they must have secured at least 45 per cent aggregate in Class 12
- Students appearing for Class 12 boards or waiting for results can also apply provisionally for the SET exam
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from any Foreign Board and have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU) are also eligible
How to Apply for SET Exam 2026?
- Visit the SET website, i.e. set-test.org
- Register as news users using personal and communication details
- Confirm the part 1 od the SET application form with OTP
- Students will then receive an email and SMS containing their SET ID and Password
- Pay the application fee of INR 2250 as per the instructions
- Complete Part 2 of SET exam registration process by choosing test city, institute, and uploading documents
- Pay INR 1000 as the institute fee and take a print of the SET application form
