Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (APBIE) reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent for the academic year 2020-21. The revised syllabus for AP Inter Science and Commerce is available on the official website, i.e. bie.ap.gov.in. Students can download the reduced AP Inter syllabus 2020-21 in pdf form in which all the syllabus with a 30 per cent reduction is available. According to the Andhra Pradesh Board, the classes were supposed to start in the month of June. However, the current pandemic situation may delay the classes for another two or three months. The delay may take half of the academic year, and it will not be possible to cover the entire syllabus in the remaining time. All the other educational boards including CBSE, are also taking similar steps to cover the loss of studies.

How to download reduced AP Inter syllabus 2020-21?

Students can follow the steps mentioned below to download the syllabus in pdf format.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Andhra Pradesh Board, i.e. bie.ap.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on ‘2020-21 syllabus’

Step 3: Now click on links that read, ‘Science subjects with 30% reduction’ or ‘Arts subjects with 30% reduction’

Step 4: The pdf for Science or arts syllabus will get displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Click on the download button and save the syllabus.

Andhra Pradesh Board is the latest one among the education boards that reduced the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12, including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), who is the first to reduce the syllabus for CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th in the light of COVID-19 pandemic. CBSE announced an overall reduction of school syllabi by 30 per cent, considering the “extraordinary situation” of the COVID-19 pandemic. On similar lines, State Board of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, West Bengal, and Goa also notified reduction in the school syllabi.
