AP SSC and Inter exams have been postponed due to COVID-19.

AP SSC, Inter exams 2021: Education Minister A Suresh has said that the state government will take a decision at the appropriate time regarding the conduct of AP SSC examinations and AP Inter examinations 2021. “We are keenly observing the situation. We will take an appropriate decision at the appropriate time,” Education Minister A Suresh told reporters.

Asked about the Supreme Court notice, the minister said he was not aware of it. He, however, said the government would spell out its stand after the notice was received. “We will tell the Supreme Court why conducting the examinations is necessary,” Suresh said.
On June 17, the Supreme Court issued notices to all the state boards that have not cancelled their board examinations. Out of 28 states, 6 states have already conducted the examinations, 18 states have cancelled it, but 4 states (Assam, Punjab, Tripura and Andhra Pradesh) have not cancelled their board examinations, the SC noted. The matter has been adjourned to June 21.

“Our stand has been the same from the beginning. We want to conduct the examinations only in the interest of the students’ future,” the minister added.

As per the reports, The State Education Department is planning to conduct the AP Inter exams in the first week of July followed by SSC exams in the last week of July.
