AHSEC has decided to cover the entire AHSEC syllabus for the academic year 2021-22 despite the loss of four months of offline classes due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has decided to go ahead and cover the complete Assam HS syllabus for the academic year 2021-22. The Assam HS exams 2022 will include questions for the complete syllabus despite the loss of four months of offline classes due to Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the official circular issued by AHSEC, “This is for general information to all the principals of the institutions/registrars of the universities having H.S. course under AHSEC that the final examination 2022 will be held covering the full syllabus of H.S. 2nd year.”
The Council justified its move by saying that the decision has been taken keeping in mind the futuristic plans of students, mostly medical and engineering aspirants.
AHSEC officials, however, said there will be multiple options in the questions of the board exams to lessen the worries of students. The council is going ahead with a tentative plan to conduct the Class 12th boards in February-March next year, whereas filling up the exam forms is set to begin on November 1. AHSEC is expecting around 2.5 lakh students to appear in the 2022 board exams.
However, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has decided to reduce the Assam HSLC syllabus 2022 by 40 per cent.
