It is to be mentioned here that the Class 12 students from the state are required to appear for five subjects. "We urge all the students to be prepared for the exams as they will be conducted as soon as we get a green signal from the government," the minister added.

Both theoretical and practical exams are held to check student's knowledge in the papers in the AHSEC HS exams. There are a total of five subjects in Assam HS exams and each paper contan a total of 100 marks.
