Assam HSLC Syllabus 2021-22 to be reduced by 40 percent

SEBA has decided to reduce the Assam HSLC syllabus 2021-22 by 40 per cent for every subject as compared to the syllabus of the academic session 2019. Scroll below to know more

Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has decided to cut down the Assam HSLC syllabus 2021-22 by 40 per cent for each and every subject in comparison with the academic session 2019. The decision was taken for the convenience of exams of the students of Class 9 and 10 in the academic session 2021-22.

As per the official notification, “In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the educational institutions had to be closed from the third week of April 2021. During this period, the schools had conducted online classes but most of the students could not attend due to various reasons. This has resulted in considerable academic loss and it will be difficult for students and teachers to cover the course curriculum prescribed by the Board.”

“This SEBA Assam has decided to reduce the course curriculum by 40 per cent in comparison to the academic year 2019. The syllabus has been reduced for Classes 9 and 10 for all subjects. The revised syllabus will be available on the official website www.sebaonline.org.”
