When will the exam pattern for Assam Board class 10 exam be released?

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) will soon prescribe the exam pattern for the class 10 exams. The students must note that the SEBA exam pattern is prescribed in the Assam HSLC model paper. Students can download the Assam HSLC sample paper online on board's website. Students need to check the exam pattern to be aware of how the final board exams will be conducted.

What is the difficulty level of the Assam HSLC Exams?

The duration of each SEBA 10th exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) and the students need to secure minimum 33 percent marks in the exam. The overall difficulty level of the Assam Class 10 Exams is Easy to Moderate. Questions are asked from the entire Assam HSLC syllabus 2024-25. If you pay attention to covering the entire syllabus, your chances to secure high marks in the exam will increase. Do Assam HSLC exams include practical marks in all papers?

No, not all the subjects have practical or internal assessment exams in Assam HSLC exams. However, subjects like Science, Computer Science inlcude 20 marks for internal assessment in SEBA HSLC. Students should try to secure more marks in internal assessment as it will help the students score good marks in the exams. Even if the marks are few, they make a big difference in your final result. So students should take them seriously and complete all assigned tasks.

What is the total marks of the Assam HSLC exams?

The exam comprises 6 subjects namely AII Mil, English, English (IL), Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The total mark of the Assam HSLC Board exam is 600. 100 marks is distributed in each subject in the SEBA 10th board exams. Only Science paper has practical exams. Out of 100, 90 marks are distributed for theory exams. On the other hand, 10 marks are for Internal/practical exams.

Assam HSLC Exam Pattern 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) prescribes the SEBA HSLC Exam Pattern 2026 for the students who are preparing for the next Assam Board HSLC exam. The board releases the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2025-26 in the form of a model paper. In 2024, the board made some major changes in the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2026. An OMR sheet will be used for answering objective-type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each in case of core subjects, i.e., English (C1), General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3) and Social Science (C4). Hence, all the students will be provided an OMR sheet to answer 50% of the total questions during the exam. On the other hand, a separate answer copy containing 16 pages will also be provided as before to answer subjective type questions.

The SEBA 10th exam pattern 2026 mentions the marking scheme, duration, and the types of important questions asked in the exam. Students are advised to go through the SEBA HSLC exam pattern thoroughly to plan their preparations and ace the exams. The students must note that the SEBA HSLC exam will be held at school level as there will be no board exams from 2026 onward.
