The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) prescribed the exam pattern for the class 10 exams. If you pay attention to covering the entire syllabus, your chances to secure high marks in the exam will increase. The overall difficulty of the SEBA HSLC mathematics paper was moderate to tough. The experts termed the SEBA 10th Maths paper a balanced paper that tested conceptual clarity. However, students who have covered the SEBA HSLC syllabus were able to asnwer all the questions. According to various students, the questions were asked from NCERT textbook.

As of now, the Assam board has not made any changes in the SEBA HSLC exam pattern. The board will soon prescribe the exam pattern in the form of a model question paper. Last year, the Assam board made some changes in the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2026. An OMR sheet will be given to answer the objective-type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each for the core subjects. The chances of making any change in the Assam Board 10th exam pattern this year is very les. However, in case any change made in the exam pattern for the upcoming board exam, we will update the same.

The difficuulty level of the Assam 10th exam is easy to moderate. Obtaining good marks in the exam is not very difficult. Hence, the students must focus on completing the Assam HSLC exam preparation. The students are suggested to cover the entire SEBA HSLC (10th) syllabus at least a month before the exam so that they can revise the Assam 10th syllabus and also practice the SEBA HSLC sample papers.

A good mark in Assam HLSC exams is generally considered to above 75 percet. Students who secure marks above 90 per cent can be considered excellent. 

Multiple Choice Questions (MSQs) always play a cruicial role in any board exams. Inclass 10, 12 board exams, MCQs are asked in each paper that contain 30% to 40% marks. Through, MCQs, the students are tested for their knoledge and understanding of concepts. Each MCQ usually has one mark, hence, answering them correctly can award boost to your score. These MCQs also take less time to answer if the studtnts are well-prepared.

HSLC Exams 2026 Assam are conducted in offline mode (pen & paper). Candidates write the answers on answer sheet provided by the examiner. Objective type questions are answered in OMR sheet while the non-objective type questions are answer on descriptive normal answer sheet. Students must be aware of the exam pattern to get more familiar with the actual exam pattern.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam does not release the official answer key for the objective type questions asked in the final exams. However, many coaching institutes and online portals releases the answer key for the SEBA HSLC MCQs.
