The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the CBSE date sheet for Class 12th on the official website. It is expected that the examinations will be conducted in May/June 2021. The CBSE admit cards 2021 will be issued online for all students. On the new exam pattern and postponement of the exam, the minister said, "We will ensure that you get enough time for preparation". The minister will announce the date for the commencement of the examinations on December 31 at 6 pm.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal βNishankβ interacted live with students on Twitter to answer their queries regarding the board examinations. He cleared that the board examinations will be held in offline mode. While responding to the question if the exams be postponed, he replied that in case the situation does not improve, the examinations will have to be postponed. The final decision will be taken after assessing the situation.
He also cleared that the CBSE practical exam 2021 for Class 10 and 12 will be conducted at the school level. The matter will be discussed further if the situation is not right at that time. The minister mentioned that CBSE has reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent to ease the burden on students and teachers alike and that there will be no further reduction in the syllabus.
Many students raised doubts regarding the reopening of schools. Answering the question, Pokhriyal said that 17 states have opened their schools although attendance is low.
