The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that it will announce results of Class 12 examinations by mid-August.
The CBSE informed that it will announce CBSE 12th results 2021 by mid-August. The development comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced cancellation of Class 12 board examinations amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi, "Exams have been cancelled keeping in view the safety of students and timely announcement of results. Board is assessing criteria for evaluation and marking. It will take some time and will be put in public domain. Results will be announced between July end and mid-August."

“If students are not satisfied with their marks, they will be given a chance to reappear for examinations after the declaration of result,” he added.
The government decided to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board exams amid the prevailing COVID19 pandemic across the country with Modi asserting that the decision has been taken in the interest of students. He also said that he took this decision to put an end to the anxiety among students, parents and teachers.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting and it was decided that the CBSE will take steps to tabulate the results of Class 12 students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.
After the announcement by the Centre, CISCE and many other state boards have also decided to cancel the Class 12th exams.
