CBSE Result 2022 Class 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the application process for CBSE 10th result 2022 verification from July 26, 2022. Those who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in the CBSE 12th exams 2022 can apply for re-verification of the answer sheet online on the official website of the board. The board has declared the CBSE 12th Result 2022 on July 22 in the morning hours. The CBSE Result 2022 Class 12 has been released online on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.The CBSE 12th Result 2022 can be accessed by students through the CBSE website using their roll number, admit card number and school number. The CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 Term 2 would comprise the student's name, roll number, date-of-birth, marks obtained in all subjects, grades, etc. Students can also check the CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 via DigiLocker and UMANG App.

The Board had declared the CBSE Result 2021-22 Class 12 Term 1 on March 19, 2022 in offline mode. CBSE had mailed the Class 12 result to the registered mail ids of the schools. In order to check, schools had to download the PDF file of the CBSE Result 2022 Class 12 from their respective mail ids. The PDF or notepad file contained the numbers or marks scored by the students against the respective subject codes. Students could collect mark sheets from their schools. The board said that it will not be releasing the "performance" of the students online and had issued a circular regarding the same.

For term 1 exams, the board had only released the marks and shared them with students through their respective schools. No students were placed in the compartment, repeat category after CBSE Result 2022 Class 12. The final result of CBSE 12th exam 2022 will be declared after the conduction of the term 2 exams. The students will be able to access the mark sheet after the term 2 results are declared. The board will conduct the CBSE 12th compartment exams only after the announcement of the CBSE 12th Term 2 Result 2022, as per the official CBSE circular.

Last year, the Board had released the CBSE 12th Result for Science, Commerce and Arts streams on July 30 at 2 pm on the official website. These results were calculated based on the evaluation criteria released by the board, which is mentioned below. Last year, the CBSE Class 12 result was declared without holding the examinations as they were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 12th result 2021 was 99.37%.

How to check CBSE class 12 term 2 result at cbseresults.nic.in

CBSE class 12 term 1 result 2021-22 was announced offline. The CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 Term 2 will be released online. All the students can check below where to check CBSE 12th Result 2022 and the steps to follow:

  • Visit any of the websites – results.cbse.nic.in, www.cbse.gov.in & results.gov.in

How to Check CBSE Term 2 Result class 12 through IVRS

Once released, the Result of 12th Class 2021-22 CBSE can also be checked through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The call would be charged at 30 paisa/minute for a single roll number. Students need to dial the number, 24300699, along with the code of their area preceding the given number.

How to check CBSE Class 12th Result 2021-22 through SMS

There is an option to get the CBSE term 2 result class 12 by sending an SMS from the registered number. The format which is to be followed for the SMS: “cbse12 (roll number) (date of birth) (school number) (Centre number) on the number 7738299899. The format of the date of birth should be DDMMYYYY. Students will then receive an SMS with a subject-wise list of their marks. They must secure the CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 for immediate references.

CBSE Class 12th Exam Digital Marksheet through Digilocker

Students can also download their CBSE class 12 term 2 result 2022 in the form of digital marksheets via DigiLocker. Their DigiLocker account details are sent via SMS on the registered mobile number with CBSE.

Students will have to visit the official website of DigiLocker and register themselves, Subsequently, they must follow the steps mentioned below to obtain the Result of 12th Class 2021-22 CBSE:

  1. Log in using the Username and Password to the App
  2. Go to ‘Profile’ and sync the Aadhaar number, if the same hasn’t been done while signing up
  3. Click on ‘Pull Partner Documents 
  4. There will be two drop-down menus on the next screen

From the first one, select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi’

From the next one, select ‘Mark sheet (HSC/SSC)’, ‘Migration certificate’ or ‘Passing certificate’ etc

  1. Enter the required details, like the year of passing and roll number, into the next screen
  2. The Mark sheet/ Certificate for CBSE Result 2022 Class 12 Term 2 will be downloaded. Students can save the document in DigiLocker account by clicking on the ‘Save to locker’ button. 

An extra added layer of security has been introduced for downloading marksheets from DigiLocker.

To get the marksheets from DigiLocker, students can visit the website — cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse for initiation of their account confirmation process. Students must note that they will need a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the students data, the PIN has been introduced.

To confirm the DigiLocker account, students will first have to select their class first either class 10 or 12 and then enter their school code, and roll number. Further, they access the six-digit security PIN from their schools. The PIN will be provided by their school, if not received, students will have to contact their school. The PIN will be a numeric value. Example: If pin number given by school is ‘012345’, students will have to enter only 012345.

Students must note that CBSE has not released class 10 term 1 result on other platforms except from sending it to the individual schools. Students can collect the CBSE term 1 result marksheet from their schools only. The Term 2 CBSE Result 2022 Class 10 is expected to be released online.

CBSE 12th Result 2022: How schools can get DigiLocker Pin

Step 1 : Go to cbse.digitallocker.gov.in

Step 2: Login using LOC credentials and select ‘Login as School’

Step 3: Click on download PIN file

Step 4: Select class

Step 5: After downloading the PIN, schools can share the PIN individually with the students for security purposes

CBSE Class 12th Result 2022: Important Points

  • Performance of the individual students will not be made available on the website for CBSE 12th Result 2022-21 Term 1

  • The information about the performance of students is based on the performance of the students uploaded by the schools. In the subjects where the assessment was not done by the schools, performance based on the scanning of OMR Sheets has communicated to the schools.
  • To address the difference in the difficulty level between sets of Question Papers in Term-I examinations like Spanish etc. or difficulty in some particular set/ state/ region, needful action will be taken at the time of preparation of the final result after Term- II examinations.
  • In  case, the students missed their exams due to COVID-19 or because of participation  in  any National/International  Sports/Olympiads  etc.no performance of Term-I examinations has been comrnunicated. However, their performance will be assessed based on performance in Term-11 examinations in accordance with circular no. CBSE/ Coord/ Sports/ 2021-22 dated 09/11/ 2021.

  • Only theory performance has been communicated to the schools. The information about practical/project/internal assessment is already with the schools in CBSE 12th Result 2021 Term 1

  • Being Term-I only, no Mark Sheet cum Passing Certircate is being tssued now. Only one Mark Sheet cum Passing Certificate will be issued after the Term-II examination to have
    parity with the previous results.This will comprise of only total marks of both the Terms as  per weightage decided of Term-I and Term-II examinations.

  • The weightage of Term-1 and Term-Il will be decided at the time of declaration of Term-11 result and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated.

  • Result of 12th Class CBSE will be declared only after Term 2 examinations wherein the candidates will  be placed in the Essential Repeat/ Compartment/ Pass category etc.

  • Examination centres will be allotted afresh in Term 2. Students will appear only from the examination centres allotted to their school. No examination centre will be changed in the Term 2 examinations.

  • The Compartment Examination  will  be conducted based on the syllabus of Term 2 examinations.

  • In  the case of  the  PatracharVidyalaya/  Private candidates,  as  the students will be appearing only in the Term-II examination, their marks in Practical and Theory will be awarded on pro-rata basis.

  • In all cases where ever problems have been reported in the question papers or marking schemes, due care has been taken by the Board and the performance of the students has been calculated/re-calculated by the Board taking into account the revised answer key wherever applicable or awarded marks for dropped ‘questions in a suitable manner keeping in mind the academic interests of the students.
  •  Action as per rules on Unfair means, sub-judlce cases, not eligible and resultlater casesetc. will be taken at the time of final results. Suchcandidates are presently allowed to appear in Term-11 Examinations.
  • Online Dispute Redressal Mechanism for Term-I examinations is made available with immediate effect. Students can send the disputes to their school and schools can send the comblned dispute to the CBSE. Online Dispute Redressal Mechanism facility will be available till 31.03.2022.However, disputes will be decided alongwith the verification schedule after the declaration of the Term-II result. 
  • Performance of the students of 62 schools has been communicated provisionally and is under scrutiny for CBSE Result 2021 Class 12 Term 1

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 result 2022- Here's how to calculate the percentage

The marks in the five main subjects are to be added and divided by 5. For example, the marks of the five main subjects are mentioned below: 

Subject 1: 80

Subject 2: 85 

Subject 3: 87

Subject 4: 92

Subject 5: 95

Step 1: The total marks: 80+85+87+92+95= 439

Step 2: Divide it by 5

439/5 = 87.8 

CBSE Class 12 Result 2022: Passing Criteria

Students would be considered to have cleared the CBSE board exams if they fulfil the criteria mentioned below:

  • Should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ (that is, at least 33% marks) in all the five subjects of external exams in the main (or compartmental exams)
  • For practical work-related subjects, candidates should secure 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical. Apart from this, aspirants should have secured at least 33% marks in aggregate

The Board would give students a pass certificate if they get a grade above 'E' in all subjects of internal assessment (unless he/she is exempted).

CBSE 12th Result 2022 Verification Process

The students who are not satisfied with the marks they obtained in the CBSE 12th exam 2022 can apply for  verification of marks/answer sheet from July 26, 2022. The students will be required to fill out the application form for verification of the marks online on the official website. The board will re-check the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. After re-checking, the board will share the CBSE 12th result 2022 with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of re-checked CBSE 12th result 2022.

CBSE 12th Result 2022 - Compartment/Re-evaluation

After verification, If a student remain unsatisfied with the results, they can raise a request for re-evaluation. The rechecking results will be made available online from August 8 to 9, 2022 and application for re-evaluation will be accepted from August 13, 2022. If a student is unable to clear a subject, they can appear for the compartment exams for Class 12. The CBSE Compartment exams 2022 are expected to be held in July/August. The results for the same will be announced in August 2022.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2022: Reverification, Re-evaluation and Marksheet Photocopy Fees

To apply for CBSE 12th results verification process, the students will have to pay Rs.500 per subject. On the other hand, the students who want to apply for re-evaluation need to pay Rs.100 per subject. Also, the students who want to get a photocopy of CBSE Class 12 answer sheets will be required to pay Rs.500 per answer sheet to apply for the same.

CBSE 12th Toppers' List 2022

Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the CBSE 12th Toppers list 2022 along with the Term 2 results. In 2021 and 2020, it did not release the CBSE 12th Topper list 2021 due to the non-conduct of exams. What after the declaration of term 2 result date class 12?

After the release of CBSE class 12th Result 2022, students are required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools respectively. They can now apply for various professional and undergraduate courses in different universities and colleges. Delhi University offers various undergraduate programmes for students hailing from all three streams- Science, Commerce and Arts. DU admissions was based on merit and entrance both. However, for the first time, students willing to appear for the DU admission 2022, will be required to pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)

Yes many or even almost every college provides scholarships on the basis of 12 th class percentage but it takes only the main subjects, and also for defence personnel's ward but some college offer this scholarship only to the persons who are in duty. No benefit for retirement personnel ward.
