CBSE Class 10 English Board Exam 2026 Marking Scheme

CBSE Class 10 English Exam 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct CBSE 10th English board exam on February 21, as per latest curriculum and assessment framework. As per schedule released, English (Communicative) and English (Language & Literature) will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students appearing for English board exam must be aware of CBSE Class 10 question paper pattern and marking sheme that has already been released. 

They can download CBSE Class 10th marking scheme for English and other subjects at cbse.gov.in. With CBSE marking scheme and paper pattern, students can understand question-wise and section-wise marks distribution. They can also know how CBSE Class 10 English answers are assessed based on grammar, vocabulary and presentation. 

CBSE Class 10 English Question Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme

CBSE 10th English Language and Literature paper will be held for 80 marks. There will be 11 compulsory questions which are divided into three sections: Reading Skills, Grammar and Creative Writing Skills, and Literature Textbook.
