CBSE Class 12 Eco Paper Analysis 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has concluded the class 12 Economics Board Exam today at 1:30 PM. As per initial reactions, the overall CBSE class 12 economics difficulty level was moderate. As per early feedback given by students, the exam was balanced, covering both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics sections. A few students mentioned that the case-study-based questions were time-consuming and needed extra attention. 

CBSE Class 12 Economics Paper 2026 Analysis

According to the majority of students, the class 12 economics question paper 2026 difficulty was moderate but balanced. Most questions were NCERT-based. However, the application-based questions were slightly tricky. Meanwhile, case study-based questions were moderate and required careful reading.

Section-Wise Difficulty Level of CBSE Economics Paper 2026

CBSE Economics Question Paper Pattern 2026

The question paper of 12th economics CBSE was divided into two major sections, i.e. Macroeconomics and Indian Economic Development. The paper includes a mix of objective questions, SA questions, LA questions, and case-based questions.

Students’ Review on Class 12 CBSE Economics Paper 2026 

Students shared a mixed response to today's paper. Many said the paper scoring, especially those who had revised the NCERT concepts. Meanwhile, a few students mentioned that time management was a challenge while doing numericals.

“The paper was balanced but slightly lengthy. Numericals took more time than expected,” said a student after the exam.
